Apply a product like rhino liner herculiner or rust oleum truck bed liner to the roof. Use spray paint for a quicker and cheaper paint job. I fixed the rest of the rust spots on the truck. It will work great.

Using it is as simple as pointing and spraying. Allow the paint to dry and then apply a second and third coat. Sand the roof lightly with 200 grit sandpaper to remove some of the rust and to prepare the roof for step 2. I also put the finished doing touch ups on the rest of the truck.
